The BrucePoker Irish 100's Poker Festival Main Event took place at the Glenroyal Hotel in Maynooth over the week of the 12th to the 18th of September 2011 where a €50,000 guaranteed prizepool was on offer. The €120 Texas Hold'em Re-Entry tournament had 457 entries over the opening four days with a guaranteed €15,000 for first place.

The main event, which had a €4,300 overlay, was won by Mustafa Gultekin who took home €11,000 for first place. You can find the results of the main event and all side events here.

Feedback from the week long festival has been 100% positive and we are already working on next years festival. Looking forward to seeing you there.

A Thanks From BrucePoker

Always start with the players. If we weren't confident about the 50k guarantee we wouldn't have put it in and despite some knocks we nearly got there. A big thank you from everyone who worked at the festival to the players who made the trip down. Without your support festivals like this cannot go ahead. Special mention goes to Michelle Gavigan and Phil Baker. Both these players pushed the festival for us, Michelle through her loyal facebook "followers" and Phil by staking in players, organising the dunk tank, getting the 2 tourneys going sunday and generally keeping players in good spirits. I was very happy to see both these players get something out of the weekend.

Our TD and organiser Nick O'Hara. Anyone that knows Nick knows the how good a TD he is and this main event was no exception. I had the pleasuer of working with Nick in the months before the event as well and I believe the festival ran so well because of the input from Nick and the rest of the organisers.

Adrian Byrne, Eddie Walsh, Keith Mitchell and the dealers from the AK Club. The AK Club are now running our live tour games and BrucePoker could not be happier with their work and attitude. As always the guys ran the cash area perfectly and were the last ones finishing up every night/morning. They also work on the setup of the venues, marketing and basically any job you can think of in the making of a poker festival.

Iain Cheyne. I was going to put Iain in the players category but he deserves his own. Anyone who saw the videos both leading up to the event and during it know how important Iains work was to us. Iain also streamed the final table and setup a flop cam which made this the best final table we have had in our 3 years of doing this. There will be wrap up videos put up here as well.

Stephen McClean. Looked after the dealers on the busiest days. Always great working with Stephen, even just talking to him about poker. Another TD on top of his game.

The dealers for the festival. Thank you, you guys did a top job with a special shout to al, deana, hugo, ken and Lalo who worked the floor, doing some TD work and taking care of the dealers.

Niamh. For her help with registration during the week.

Clare, for her work with the dealers and barretstown.

TD for the Omaha Classic John Scanlon. First time working with John. Very professional and a very nice guy.

Manus for working with us on the omaha classic.

The glenroyal hotel. As always we found the staff very accommodating with everything we did.

Really don't want to forget anyone, if I have I'm sorry.
